There isn't one category to put my music in. You will find a heavy influence of rock, blues, and even some jazz. When I write a song I always grab my guitar first and experiment with different sounds. Once I find something unique that represents the mood I'm feeling that day, then I go from there. I can't always write a song but when I do it has to be real and bring some kind of emotion in me. Finally, I add the lyrics. Which over the years I've found can be just as important. To me you really can't have one without the other to tell the whole story. Now what your perception of the story is, well that's the beauty and art of it. I know I've made a great song if people can relate to it. Otherwise if you don't then it's just an autobiography. It's your turn, so you tell me what you think.
